Real headshots vs AI headshots

Your headshot should look
like you in person

AI headshot apps are fast and cheap, and for some people they're enough. But they build a face from your selfies, so the result is often a slightly different person. When a client, patient or hiring manager meets you, on a call or across a desk, you want them to recognize you.

Accurate, not generated

Your real face, real hair and real smile, with natural retouching that keeps you looking like yourself.

Coached in the moment

I talk you through angles and expression as we go, so the confident, approachable look is actually yours.

Consistent across the team

Same lighting, background and crop for everyone, and new hires can be added later to match.

Edited by a person

Every final image is hand-edited by me. No warped hands, odd collars or plastic skin.

Questions

Headshot
FAQ

How much do business headshots cost in the Inland Empire?

Individual headshot sessions start at $250 on location or at your office. Prefer the studio? It’s a +$150 studio fee. Every session includes 45–60 minutes of shooting, 10–20 hand-edited images, multiple looks, a private online gallery and a sneak peek within 24 hours. Team and corporate headshots are quoted by group size and location.

Do you do corporate headshots at our office?

Yes. I bring the lighting and backdrop to your office and set up in a conference room or any open space, then photograph your team on a schedule that keeps the workday moving. If it’s easier, your team can come to my studio in Rancho Cucamonga instead.

Can you match the headshots we already have?

Usually, yes. Send me a few of your current team headshots and I’ll match the background, lighting and crop as closely as I can, so new hires fit right in on your website and LinkedIn.

Are real headshots worth it compared to AI headshots?

AI headshot apps are quick and inexpensive, and for some people they’re enough. They generate a face based on your selfies, so the result can look slightly off, and it often doesn’t match how you look in person or on a video call. A real session gives you an accurate photo of you, with an expression coached in the moment, edited by a person, and consistent with the rest of your team.

What should I wear for a business headshot?

Solid colors photograph best. Skip busy patterns and large logos, and stick to classic tones like navy, charcoal, white, cream or muted earth tones. Bring 2–3 options and we’ll pick together.

How long does a headshot session take?

Individual sessions run 45–60 minutes, which leaves time for a few looks and backgrounds. Team sessions are scheduled in blocks so everyone gets their turn without a long wait.

Where are sessions held?

At your office, at an outdoor spot that fits your brand, or in my studio in Rancho Cucamonga (+$150 studio fee). I work with professionals and teams across Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Upland, Claremont, Fontana, Chino, Chino Hills, Corona, Riverside and the rest of the Inland Empire.
